QA - Mobile App Manual and Automation Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative QA Tester with expertise in automated testing for mobile applications, web platforms, backend APIs, and SDKs. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in mobile app and API testing,particularly in validating SDKs and ensuring a seamless developer experience for software integrations. Additionally, the candidate will bring knowledge of AI-driven testing approaches, leveraging machine learning and intelligent test automation to enhance test coverage, accuracy, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements and design test cases aligned with functional and non-functional needs.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for mobile apps (iOS and Android), web applications, SDK APIs and backend APIs.
• Apply AI-based testing tools and frameworks to optimize test case generation, defect prediction, and regression coverage.
• Perform manual exploratory testing, enhanced with AI-assisted analytics to identify usability gaps and hidden defects.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using tools like Appium, Selenium, Postman, and AI-enabled platforms.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using intelligent bug-tracking workflows.
•  Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
•  Conduct pre-release and post-implementation validation, including AI-driven anomaly detection.
•  Maintain detailed documentation of test results, leveraging AI dashboards for trend analysis
• Analyze application performance under varied conditions and document insights.
•  Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools, AI-driven test strategies, and industry best practices.
•  Work effectively with offshore team leaders across diverse geographies.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in mobile automation testing using Appium and Selenium.
• Good understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
•  Experience with API testing tools like Postman; familiarity with AI-based API testing approaches.
•  Proficiency in programming  such as Java or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
•  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Required Skills:

•  Mobile & Web Platforms: Experience with iOS (Xcode) and Android (Android Studio) environments.
•  Automation Testing: Expertise in Appium, Selenium, and AI-powered automation tools.
•  Manual Testing: Ability to perform thorough manual testing, supported by AI-driven defect prediction and risk analysis.

 Testing Tools & AI-Driven Quality Engineering:

Advanced proficiency with industry-standard testing and quality management tools, including JIRA, TestRailfor test planning, execution, defect tracking, and network analysis.

• Experience leveraging AI-enhanced testing and test management platforms to improve quality outcomes, streamline workflows, and accelerate release cycles.
• Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to evaluate, adopt, and champion emerging AI-powered quality engineering solutions—such as GitHub Copilot intelligent test automation frameworks, Appium AI capabilities, and machine learning-assisted testing tools—to increase test coverage, enhance defect detection, improve maintenance efficiency, and drive continuous innovation in the QA process.
• Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• API Testing: Experience with Postman, SoapUI, and AI-based API validation tools.
• AI in QA: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to testing, such as intelligent test case generation, predictive analytics for defect detection, and natural processing for test script creation
