Job Overview
As the Operations Manager for the Central Kitchen, you will oversee the full spectrum of kitchen operations, ensuring efficient production, food safety compliance, quality consistency, and timely supply to all outlets. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production Management
- Manage daily central kitchen operations including food preparation, production planning, and distribution
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen processes
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock control
Food Safety & Quality Assurance
- Ensure strict compliance with SFA regulations, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure product consistency and quality control
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, production staff, and supervisors
- Plan manpower allocation and scheduling to optimize productivity
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure staff adherence to company policies
Supply Chain & Logistics
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials
- Oversee distribution of products to retail outlets across Singapore
- Monitor cost efficiency and reduce wastage
Continuous Improvement
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality
- Support new product launches and scaling of production
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in central kitchen, food manufacturing, or F&B operations
- Proven experience in managing large-scale food production operations
- Good knowledge of SFA, HACCP, and food safety regulations in Singapore
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
