Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • To assist in the full recruitment cycle for both academic and non-academic positions, including international hires.
  • Coordinate interview arrangements, reference checks, preparation of employment contracts, and visa/work pass documentation where required.
  • Organise and support onboarding programmes to ensure new employees integrate smoothly into the school’s culture and operations.

HR Operations & Records

  • Maintain and update employee records, including contracts, personal files, and leave records, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Track contract renewals, probation confirmations, and visa/work pass expiry dates.
  • Ensure HR databases and reports are accurate and up to date.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
  • Support staff engagement initiatives, welfare programmes, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Assist with disciplinary matters and conflict resolution in accordance with school policies and local employment regulations.

Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Ensure HR practices align with local labour laws, child safeguarding requirements, and school policies.
  • Support the review and enhancement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, accreditation processes, and regulatory compliance.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate staff learning and development programmes and maintain accurate training records.
  • Assist in organising workshops, professional development sessions, INSET days, and other training activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably within an international school or multicultural environment.
  • Well verse with Singapore regulatory requirements and government agencies such as MOM, IRAS, and SSG.
