Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- To assist in the full recruitment cycle for both academic and non-academic positions, including international hires.
- Coordinate interview arrangements, reference checks, preparation of employment contracts, and visa/work pass documentation where required.
- Organise and support onboarding programmes to ensure new employees integrate smoothly into the school’s culture and operations.
HR Operations & Records
- Maintain and update employee records, including contracts, personal files, and leave records, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Track contract renewals, probation confirmations, and visa/work pass expiry dates.
- Ensure HR databases and reports are accurate and up to date.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
- Support staff engagement initiatives, welfare programmes, and feedback mechanisms.
- Assist with disciplinary matters and conflict resolution in accordance with school policies and local employment regulations.
Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure HR practices align with local labour laws, child safeguarding requirements, and school policies.
- Support the review and enhancement of HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, accreditation processes, and regulatory compliance.
Training & Development
- Coordinate staff learning and development programmes and maintain accurate training records.
- Assist in organising workshops, professional development sessions, INSET days, and other training activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably within an international school or multicultural environment.
- Well verse with Singapore regulatory requirements and government agencies such as MOM, IRAS, and SSG.
