Key Responsibilities
- Able to manage parts inventory planning, ordering, and stock control to support aftersales operations
- Ensure high parts availability while maintaining efficient inventory turnover ratios
- Maintain optimal stock levels to meet servicing and repair demands without overstocking
- Develop and implement inventory strategies based on demand forecasting and usage trends
- Monitor and control parts obsolescence and minimize waste or excess inventory
- Work closely with service, workshop, and warranty teams to align parts supply with operational needs
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement and cost efficiency
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch
- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations
- Implement and maintain parts pricing strategies and margin control
- Prepare and analyze reports on parts sales, inventory performance, and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement in parts processes, systems, and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive parts management or aftersales operations
- Proven experience in a dealership or distributor environment
- Well verse in inventory planning, forecasting, and supply chain management
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
- Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS) or inventory management software
