Senior Software Engineer (Python/Platform Engineering)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python/Platform Engineering) with solid expertise in backend development, container orchestration, and observability. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable systems, ensuring reliability through modern DevOps practices, and contributing to platform automation and monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Python development: Build and maintain backend services, automation scripts, and integration components.

• Kubernetes operations: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads across environments.

• Observability & Monitoring: Implement dashboards, metrics, logs, traces, and alerting pipelines using Grafana, Prometheus, and related tools.

• CI/CD pipelines: Design and maintain automated workflows with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and TeamCity.

• Agile collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and cross-functional delivery.

• Linux administration: Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring stability and security.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Work with Docker, Ansible, Splunk/SIEM, and public cloud platforms to support enterprise workloads.

• Security & Networking: Contribute to identity/authentication solutions (JWT, OAuth, SPIFFE) and proxy/networking configurations.

Skills Required

• Excellent proficiency in Python (5+ years).

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

• Expertise in Grafana, Prometheus, and observability practices.

• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing.

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity).

• Experience with Shell scripting and Regular Expressions.

• Solid understanding of Linux administration and troubleshooting.

• Awareness of Docker, Ansible, Splunk/SIEM, and cloud platforms.

• Exposure to networking, proxy, and authentication concepts (JWT, OAuth, SPIFFE).

• Good communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams.
