We are seeking a Senior FPGA Verification Engineer to lead the verification and validation of FPGA-based systems used in advanced technology products. The role focuses on developing verification strategies, executing comprehensive testing, debugging design issues, and ensuring FPGA performance, reliability, and compliance with product requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with R&D and cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop FPGA verification plans, test strategies, test cases, and verification reports.
  • Perform functional and performance verification of FPGA designs using simulation and testing tools.
  • Validate FPGA designs against specifications including functionality, speed, reliability, and power requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, document, and resolve FPGA design issues and defects.
  • Develop and maintain automated test solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with FPGA design, hardware, software, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement of verification methodologies, processes, and quality standards.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation and communicate verification results to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Good experience in FPGA verification, validation, and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience with FPGA technologies and development tools (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera).
  • Proficiency in HDL such as Verilog and VHDL.
  • Experience with scripting and test automation using Python or similar.
  • Familiarity with FPGA simulation, testing methodologies, and verification workflows.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering environments.
