Our client is seeking an experienced IT General Manager to lead enterprise IT strategy, digital platforms, and service delivery across regional markets. This role will be responsible for driving technology transformation initiatives, managing enterprise applications, and ensuring IT services are aligned with business objectives.
The successful candidate will act as a strategic technology partner to business stakeholders, overseeing IT service management, enterprise architecture, major transformation programs, and regional delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Digital Transformation
- Define and execute IT strategies and technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for digital transformation and process optimisation.
- Lead initiatives involving enterprise platforms, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across IT services and solutions.
Enterprise Applications & Platform Management
- Own the overall architecture and roadmap of core business application platforms.
- Lead enterprise application transformation initiatives across CRM, eCommerce, analytics, and business systems.
- Ensure effective integration between business applications and supporting technology platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and implementation partners to deliver scalable solutions.
IT Service Management & Delivery
- Lead regional IT service delivery and ensure operational excellence.
- Establish and manage service performance metrics, SLAs, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Oversee application support, managed services, and vendor performance.
- Drive improvements in IT processes, governance, and service quality.
Program & Resource Management
- Provide leadership for major IT programs and transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with project management teams to ensure quality, timelines, and cost effectiveness.
- Build and develop high-performing IT teams and centres of excellence.
- Manage regional resources, capability development, and succession planning.
Financial & Vendor Management
- Manage annual IT budgets, financial planning, and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Oversee technology investments, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
- Ensure effective utilisation of IT resources and investments.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, managing enterprise technology environments.
- Proven experience leading IT strategy, digital transformation, and regional IT service delivery.
- Good experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience working in multinational organisations with complex business environments.
- Good background in enterprise applications and digital platforms.
- Experience with CRM and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe Commerce/Magento).
- Exposure to BI/Data Analytics, automation, low-code platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Experience supporting business functions such as supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations.
- Good understanding of IT service management, application support, and vendor management.
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams across different cultures and geographical locations.
- Good ownership mindset with proven experience managing complex transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
