Job Summary

  • Part of the APME SCM team supporting company’s Biofuels and India portfolio under Energy Transition.
  • Responsible for developing and executing category strategies, strategic sourcing, and contracting activities across the biofuels value chain and India operations.
  • Serves as the SCM Point of Contact for India procurement and commercial activities, while driving regional biofuels initiatives to enhance supply resilience, commercial competitiveness, and contract risk management.

 

Responsibilities

Procurement

  • Develop and execute category strategies for biofuels supply chain including feedstock sourcing, product procurement and logistics.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including competitive tendering, supplier rationalization and TCO optimization.
  • Drive supply resilience, cost competitiveness and contract risk mitigation.
  • Conduct market analysis and partner with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Support end-to-end supply chain activities including storage, logistics, blending and distribution.
  • Act as SCM SPOC for India entities across CPIPL, CLIPL, CREG, FDS, IAL, Aviation and Marine.
  • Manage procurement across diverse categories including services, logistics, infrastructure, IT and manufacturing support.
  • Support business setup activities including contracts, office setup, staff augmentation and regulatory compliance.

 

Consultancy & Advisory

  • Provide guidance on procurement processes, controls and compliance with Chevron standards (IMA, DDCOE, P2P).
  • Act as trusted advisor to stakeholders across Biofuels and India portfolios.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Tax, Finance and Global Category Managers to align contracting strategies.
  • Drive supplier relationship management, performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in procurement or category management.
  • Excellent understanding of strategic sourcing, contracting and supplier management.
  • Experience in energy, chemicals, biofuels or related industries
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
