Murex Datamart Reporting Architect l Contract

Responsibilities:

• Work with Back Office and Finance stakeholders to gather and document reporting needs.
• Convert requirements into clear functional designs and Datamart report specifications.
• Configure and develop MX.3 Datamart components (dynamic tables, feeders, scripts, extractions).
• Build and maintain reports covering settlements, nostro reconciliation, confirmations, P&L, MTM, accruals, and GL feeds.
• Map data fields and maintain data lineage across Datamart and Murex FIN schema.
• Execute and monitor EOD batches and report schedules using tools like Control-M.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation against Murex screens, GL systems, and external sources.
• Support SIT and UAT by creating test cases, resolving defects, and assisting business users.
• Collaborate with FO, Risk, and Integration teams to manage dependencies and ensure accurate data delivery.
• Communicate updates, manage issues, and contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in Murex MX.3 Datamart reporting (BO and/or Finance).
• Good understanding of Datamart components (dynamic tables, feeders, filters, scripts).
• Knowledge of capital markets products lifecycle (FX required).
• Familiarity with Back Office workflows and Finance accounting processes in Murex.
• Proficiency in SQL (Sybase/Oracle) for data analysis and reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and batch scheduling tools.
• Exposure to reporting/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Skilled in Excel for reconciliation and analysis.
