Key Responsibilities:
- Manage group of 10 automation engineers from both regression and performance tracks
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, frameworks, and standards across software development projects.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the testing lifecycle.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality.
- Support agile software development practices and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, business analysts, and project managers to align quality goals with business needs.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of quality objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or quality engineering.
- Proficiency in test automation tools for regression and performance (e.g., Tricentis TOSCA, NeoLoad)
- Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Experience with configuration tracking, process validation, and risk compliance.
- Familiarity with performance management, business needs analysis, and strategy planning
- Demonstrated experience in test planning and estimation, quality metrics governance, and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience in team mentoring, capability building, and quality culture transformation.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing or productivity tooling.
