Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage special process operations including machining, plating, non-destructive testing (NDT), coatings, and laboratory activities.
- Ensure all processes comply with regulatory, OEM, and customer requirements through regular audits and process reviews.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, HSE, and operational excellence initiatives across multiple functions.
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Provide technical leadership and engineering support for complex repair, overhaul, and manufacturing challenges.
- Develop and implement new process capabilities, standards, and best practices.
- Train and mentor technical personnel to strengthen process knowledge and operational capabilities.
- Lead maintenance activities to ensure high availability, reliability, and efficiency of plant equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Manage facility upgrades, renovation projects, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve strategic, operational, and business objectives.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience within aerospace MRO, precision engineering, manufacturing, or a highly regulated industrial environment.
- Technical knowledge in areas such as electroplating, NDT, machining, mechanical/process engineering, or materials technology.
- Proven experience driving Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Leadership capabilities with experience managing technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization.
