EHS Engineer (Pharma/ Contract/ Tuas)

 

12-Months Contract

Location: Tuas

Salary: Up to $7,500 depending on experience

Our client, a MNC company in BioPharmaceutical Industry is currently looking for EHS Engineer

 

Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:

  • Provide support to the Lead EHS Engineer / EHS Manager and /or Site EHS Lead in ensuring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) performance and compliance across the company Operations Singapore (AOS) site.
  • Provide support to the implementation of EHS standards, policies and systems including ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management Systems

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of EHS risk management programs in accordance with applicable legal and other requirements.
  • Implementation of EHS initiatives and program to promote Environmental, Health & Safety culture across the site.
  • Support in implementation of EHS improvement projects.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections across various manufacturing processes and unit operations. 
  • Provide support to ensure compliance with applicable EHS legal and corporate requirements.
  • Assist in EHS permitting, submissions and coordination with external regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct the EHS incident investigation and reporting.
  • Track corrective actions and close out findings and action plan.
  • Implementation of EHS training programs and competency programs. Conduct EHS related training and safety awareness sessions across sites.
  • Support the implementation of the Process Safety Management system in accordance with applicable legal and corporate requirements.
  • Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (HAZOP, FMEA) and Risk Assessment (RA). 
  • Assist in implementation of Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene programs.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager / Supervisor.

 

 

Education / Experience Required:

  • Diploma / Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
  • Keen to learn and show great interest in EHS. Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to changing requirements.
  • Good understanding of workplace safety and EHS management systems, with the ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks effectively.
  • WSHO registration
