Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Engine Case Repair Technicians to support the setup and operational launch of a next-generation aerospace repair facility. The role focuses on aircraft engine case repair, assembly support, inspection coordination, and adherence to OEM repair standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plant Setup & Operational Readiness
- Support equipment setup, validation, and commissioning
- Participate in machine trials and functional checks
- Assist in SOP and MES implementation
- Support audit preparation, 5S, and documentation activities
- Participate in first live repair execution with engineering teams
- Support training preparation for new employees
Repair Operations
- Perform engine case repair work in accordance with approved OEM manuals and work instructions
- Carry out blending, fitting, assembly, and repair preparation activities
- Ensure all work meets aerospace workmanship and quality standards
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Comply strictly with all HSE and safety procedures
- Properly maintain and utilize tools and equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the repair cell
Requirements
- Technical diploma or equivalent in aerospace, machining, or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in aircraft engine case repair within an MRO or OEM environment
- Familiarity with engine case materials including titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Experience working with fan cases, compressor cases, turbine cases, or intermediate cases
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, repair schemes, and OEM manuals
- Familiarity with precision measurement equipment such as CMM, Faro arm, and gauges
- Experience in lean manufacturing or repair cell environments
- Exposure to Nadcap or AS9100 environments is advantageous
