HSE Specialist (New start up plant / Pharmaceutical / Manufacturing)

• Manages site safety, process risk assessments, and regulatory compliance within high-hazard pharmaceutical and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) production environments
• Custodian of qualitative risk assessments (QRA), Safety Cases, and Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies.
• Fulfills statutory Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) duties. Ensures adherence to NEA, SCDF, and MOM guidelines.
• Conducts Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA), and oversees high-risk permits like confined space entry and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Organizes EHS and sustainability audits for regulatory bodies, customers, and internal certification (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001)
• Degree in Engineering with experience in pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing environments
• Certification as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) registered with MOM
