Do you enjoy tasting different food and beverage products? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our trained sensory panel to help evaluate a wide range of dairy products.

 

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided.

 

Information:

  • Tuesday to Thursday
  • 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • Long-term part-time opportunity
  • year renewable contract (subject to panel performance)
  • Location: Science Park

 

What You'll Do

As a Sensory Panelist, you will be trained to professionally assess and describe the sensory characteristics of various products. Your evaluations will support product quality and development.

 

You will assess products based on:

  • Appearance
  • Aroma
  • Taste
  • Texture
  • Overall sensory experience

 

Products You'll Taste

You may evaluate a variety of products, including:

  • Fresh, UHT and powdered milk
  • Flavoured milk (e.g. chocolate, strawberry and fruit flavours)
  • Yoghurt
  • Infant formula
  • Coffee and tea beverages
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Evaporated milk
  • Other dairy-based products

 

What We're Looking For

  • Able to commit to the work schedule (Tuesday to Thursday, 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM)
  • Comfortable tasting a wide variety of dairy and beverage products
  • No food allergies or dietary restrictions that would prevent participation
  • Good sensory awareness and able to describe product characteristics
  • Reliable, attentive to detail, and able to follow evaluation procedures
  • No experience required – full training will be provided
  • Candidates with sensory evaluation or food-related experience are welcome to apply
  • Must successfully pass a sensory taste assessment before appointment
