Our client is seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Senior Analyst, Footwear Costing Data & Operations to support finance, product data management, quote operations, business analytics, and reporting within its global footwear organization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in driving data accuracy, operational excellence, and cost optimization initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams across Asia, you will deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making, improve costing processes, and enhance overall business performance.

This role partners with Costing, Standards Engineering, Rates & Compensation, Finance, Product teams, and external manufacturing partners to deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement across the product costing lifecycle.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage footwear costing quote operations by collaborating with internal costing teams, manufacturing partners, and regional stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve FOB costing discrepancies while supporting tooling cost balancing activities.
  • Support the migration of costing data from Snowflake to Databricks, including rebuilding dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Develop and maintain business reports, KPI scorecards, and seasonal product costing analysis.
  • Deliver accurate financial and operational insights to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Work closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Costing teams to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and operational processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and leverage AI or advanced analytics to improve business performance and cost optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance costing operations and reporting capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, product development, costing, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex cost data into actionable business insights.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, Databricks, and large-scale data management.
  • Experience developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau, Databricks, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with good reporting capabilities.
  • Exposure to AI tools or experience applying AI solutions to business processes is a plus.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
