Shipping Coordinator (Oil&Gas/ Contract)

 

12-Month Contract

Location : Harbour Front Tower One

Salary Up to $5,500 depending on experience

Our client is one of the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas companies. They are actively looking for Shipping Coordinator to join their operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead detailed blending, scheduling and inventory management for a specific area/country/region, product, or asset mix to ensure supply reliability to affiliates and external customers
  • Coordinates with Refineries, Retail, Commercial, Aviation and Marine Fuels partners to forecast and plan supply / demand balances, trigger shorts and lengths to optimizers / traders, trigger vessel requirements to SeaRiver/BML
  • Lead and execute overall supply plan, developed by the regional or tributary teams, for supply of fuel products to internal EM parties and/or external parties in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring quality requirements are met
  • Tactical and longer term Implementation of the supply and logistics activity for bulk movements of feed stocks and products (may include pipeline, marine, rail and truck)
  • Ensure timely and accurate transactional data in systems for accurate risk and margin capture as well as payment/invoicing
  • Utilize analytic tools to track vessel movements and generate market insights
  • Manage inventory downstream of refinery to agreed operating targets and year-end levels
  • Support value creation and sales growth while meeting service level targets
  • Drive improvements in work process, cross-functional interface, and overall supply chain performance
  • Initiate actions to reduce costs of supply and improve profitability.
  • Participate in system enhancements and effectiveness projects e.g. SAP, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence
  • Identifies areas of improvement in existing Fuels S&OP work processes and leads improvement initiatives; simplifies work processes for improving and maintaining functional excellence
  • Lead Supply Response Team during unplanned supply events and product quality incidents, including report out to management.
  • Ensures adherence to credit guidelines, regulatory and quality compliance, and transportation policies (i.e. vessel screening process).
  • Controls Integrity Management System and credit compliance.
  • Provides input on logistical capabilities and limitations of the XOM supply system in support of the development of long range supply and distribution strategies.
  • Participates in tributary or regional initiatives to promote the value-added objectives of the integrated R&S business
  • Works closely with Performance Improvement Analyst or Trading Analyst to pursue value areas
  • Provide vacation coverage within AP Fuels S&OP (occasional travel may be required)

 

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills as this position will be contact point for government officers.
  • Proficiency with computer systems.
  • Logical thinking skills for logistics optimization and improvement to the work process.
