Work Schedule: 3 days, 3 hours a day: Tuesday to Thursday, 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Summary

Are you passionate about food and beverages and interested in contributing to product innovation and quality improvement? We are seeking detail-oriented and enthusiastic individuals to join our trained Sensory Evaluation Team.

As a Sensory Evaluation Associate, you will play an important role in assessing and providing structured feedback on a variety of dairy and beverage products. No prior experience is required as comprehensive sensory evaluation training will be provided.

 

Key Responsibilities

Following specialized training, you will:

  • Evaluate products using standardized sensory assessment methods
  • Assess and describe product characteristics including:
    • Appearance
    • Aroma
    • Taste
    • Texture
    • Overall sensory quality
  • Record observations accurately and consistently
  • Participate in sensory testing sessions according to established protocols
  • Contribute valuable feedback that supports product development, quality assurance, and consumer satisfaction initiatives

Products You May Evaluate

Examples of products include:

  • Milk - UHT milk, powdered milk, flavoured milk products
  • Yoghurt
  • Infant formula
  • Coffee and tea beverages
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Evaporated milk
  • Other dairy-based products

 

Requirements

  • Available to commit to a regular schedule of Tuesday to Thursday, 1.30pm to 4.30pm
  • Comfortable tasting a broad range of dairy and beverage products
  • No food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions that may affect participation
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify product differences
  • Able to communicate sensory observations clearly and accurately
  • Reliable and able to follow standardized procedures
  • No prior experience required; full training provided
  • Previous experience in sensory evaluation, food science, quality assurance, or food-related industries will be a plus
  • Must successfully complete a sensory aptitude assessment before appointment
