Salary: Up to $5,000 depending on experience
Our client, a MNC company in BioPharmaceutical Industry located at Tuas is currently looking for Warehouse Assistant
Job Summary :
- Responsible for all physical and system activities involving materials movement, inventory transactions and documentation between the warehouse, production staging and shipping areas.
- o manage and control materials with different storage and shipping conditions and handling procedures, such as Cold Chain, Dangerous Goods, Ambient, Chill and Frozen temperature condition.
- Physical and documentation checks must be in-place to ensure the quality, GMP and compliance requirements are met
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Bulk Tanker Deliveries with Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Quality Control (QC) to ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) material supply.
- Receive, Inspect, and Process inbound materials, ensuring compliance with GMP/cGMP and company quality standards.
- Verify Shipping & Quality Documentation (e.g., COA, COC) and perform Goods Receipt (GR) and inventory transactions in SAP.
- Conduct Physical Inspections, identify material discrepancies, and coordinate with Quality and Purchasing for resolution.
- Pick, Stage, and Supply Materials to Production using FEFO (First Expire, First Out) and production schedules.
- Manage Storage of Raw Materials, API, and BDS, including -80°C cold chain handling and inventory control.
- Prepare and Pack Shipments, including temperature-sensitive products, dry ice, temperature loggers, and shipping documentation.
- Maintain Warehouse Operations, including storage, labeling, material traceability, and SAP/WMS (RF) inventory updates.
- Perform Cycle Counts and support inventory reconciliation and internal/external audits.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (e.g., Forklift, VNA) safely while handling sterile, hazardous, and flammable materials.
- Support SOP Development, inventory investigations, continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and Safety requirements.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Warehouse, Manufacturing, QC, Purchasing, and Logistics to support daily operations and business objectives.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Supply Chain, ITE or an equivalent.
- Good interpersonal and computer literacy skills.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in GMP warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Able to adapt to changing work schedules and hours including overtime when required.
- Ability to work in a fast pace and challenging environment.
- Possessing a valid forklift license and able to operate Reach Truck and VNA will be ideal
- Prior experience working with SAP and MES system is ideal
