SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance (functional-transformation) Lead to manage the test efforts of Finance and cross-functional projects. For this critical role, we are looking for a hands-on, adept leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with an unrelenting focus on detail and execution quality. You will orchestrate end-to-end strategies across simultaneous projects, navigating a dynamic global environment while building the trusted partnerships essential to long-term success.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• UAT Leadership: Proven UAT management experience with the ability to dynamically develop and drive comprehensive cross-functional test strategies across simultaneous projects.
• Technical Depth: High technical ability, capable of quickly understanding complex integrated systems and their downstream dependencies.
• Project Lifecycle: Thorough understanding of the Project Lifecycle methodology, with the ability to plan, organise, and manage testing activities from preparation through execution and reporting.
• Risk Management: Excel at quickly identifying, articulating, and handling UAT risk — able to see around corners and understand downstream impacts before they materialise.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to quickly build trusted relationships with global business partners and work seamlessly across all levels of leadership; viewed as a trusted advisor and partner.
• Communication & Influence: written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities across a wide range of technical and business teams.
• Analytical Problem Solving: Solid business judgment combining critical thinking with hands-on execution, grounded in detail-oriented, analytical decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Orchestrate Testing: Responsible for managing simultaneous Finance and cross-functional UAT testing efforts, dynamically developing and driving comprehensive cross-functional UAT strategies from inception through completion.
• Testing Preparation: Manage, plan, and organise all activities and tasks throughout UAT planning — including test scope definition, resource planning, environment coordination, and entry/exit criteria.
• Test Execution & Reporting: Lead and collaborate with multiple UAT partner teams to connect the dots and stitch across workstreams to drive success. Analyse execution results, report status, and keep the extended team informed and accountable to the resolution of key issues.
• Testing Documentation: Lead test resources required for successful execution of projects and craft UAT management processes, artifacts, and documentation in line with industry best practices.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with business units — to deliver quality outcomes on time while meeting key business capabilities. Develop and sustain good, trusted relationships with all cross-functional partners.
• Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify material issues impacting test quality and timelines, resolve them quickly, and escalate with clarity where needed.
• Change & Communication: Communicate test status regularly, manage testing risks, and support business readiness and post-implementation review activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Innovate and share best practices in testing with members of the broader FIS team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• PMP or ISTQB Foundation / Advanced Level certification is a plus
• SAP experience (FI and SD modules or other major Finance ERP systems)
