About the Job

1. Lean Operating System (OS) Framework

• Drive end-to-end OS transformation programme for one of the OBUs
• Develop and maintain the OS Standards Tools Register, mapping each Core Standard to owners, tools, templates, and departmental responsibilities.
• Design and manage the OS Maturity Certification Process, including phased certification gates, assessor role definitions, and maturity decision criteria
• Build and maintain a comprehensive OS Programme Workbook tracking compliance status, maturity assessments, certification progress, and action owners across all OBUs.

2. OS Maturity Assessment & Certification

• Design and administer OS maturity assessment and certification programme.
• Facilitate assessor-led maturity evaluations at cell level, ensuring consistent scoring and evidence standards across OBUs and cells.
• Engage OBU and Standard Owners to drive standard deployment, corrective actions and close maturity gaps ahead of certification milestones.

3. Kaizen & Value Stream Management

• Plan, facilitate, and lead multi-day Kaizen events targeting end-to-end material flow, identifying and systematically resolving process pain points across all major operational gates.
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) in respective cells surface bottlenecks and prioritise improvement initiatives.
• Translate Kaizen outcomes into structured senior management reports, ensuring findings are communicated with data-backed recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
•  Drive post-Kaizen sustainment by tracking implementation of agreed countermeasures and validating improvement outcomes.

4. Performance Reporting & SQCDP Dashboard Management

• Develop and maintain Power BI SQCDP dashboards providing real-time Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People performance visibility across OBU and site levels.
• Prepare and present OS effectiveness reports, maturity assessment summaries, and gap analysis to OBU Directors and the Senior Leadership Team.
• Monitor and report on OS programme KPIs, including cell certification rates, standard compliance scores, and lean maturity progression.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building

• Act as the primary lean subject matter expert for OBU Directors, Standard Owners, and cross-functional departments including HSE, Quality, Central Planning, and EMS.
• Drive adoption of the Lean OS framework across OBUs through structured engagement, coaching, and communication strategies.
• Develop and deliver training programmes aligned to OS Core Standards, ensuring vertical-wide understanding and consistent application.
• Facilitate senior leadership visits, benchmarking exercises, and industrial learning events to sustain leadership commitment and external learning.

6. Lean Strategy & Long-Term Transformation

• Support the development and execution of company's Lean Strategy Framework, including multi-year roadmaps aligned to strategic pillars of Flow Engineering, Standards & Workplace Excellence, Workforce Capability, Operating System Enhancement, and Supply Chain Lean.
• Define and track KPIs in support of Turn-Around-Time reduction targets and operational efficiency gains in line with the transformation roadmap.
• Identify and recommend digital lean tools, technology solutions, and Power Platform applications to accelerate lean programme execution and data visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field with Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in Lean Management, Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence or Operations within a complex manufacturing or MRO environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide Operating System or Lean transformation programmes across multiple operational units.
• Proven track record in facilitating Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping workshops, and structured problem-solving initiatives.
• Experience in programme and project management, including managing multi-workstream initiatives with defined milestones and senior stakeholder reporting.
• Familiarity with the aerospace MRO environment or similarly regulated, high-complexity operations is advantageous. Certifications
• Relevant Lean Proficiency Certifications
• Black Belt certification or actively pursuing Black Belt.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
