The Lifestyle and Consumer division curates, drives and accelerates digital transformation across a range of consumer facing sectors such as retail, food services, hospitality, education and wellness. The client recognises the importance of cultivating an ecosystem of digitally advanced enterprises so that they continue to thrive in an increasing competitive digital economy. To that end, they partner both public and private sectors to ideate, develop and implement digitalization projects; support them through their journey by matching technology solutions to their business needs; and shaping the outcomes to align with the national objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationship and manage a wide range of stakeholders across the both public and private sectors in order to drive alignment of the vision, goals and strategic objectives of the Lifestyle and Consumer team
  • Lead in C-level discussions and speaking engagements to evangelise digital transformation for businesses in the Lifestyle and Consumer sectors
  • Actively grow the repository of technology providers through industry engagements and seek out opportunities for such solutions to be adopted by business in the Lifestyle and Consumer sectors
  • Articulate the values of digital transformation projects and secure buy-in from senior managements in the relevant public and private sectors to ensure a smooth roll out of initatives/programmes.
  • Inspire and lead the team to work in partnership with government agencies, private enterprises and technology providers to conceptualise, co-develop and implement digital transformation projects aimed at helping businesses increase digital adoption and enhancing customer experience
  • Mentor and develop the team to be the subject matter experts on topics relating to technology trends and its applicability in the Lifestyle and Consumer sectors
  • Accountable for the timely and smooth execution of the projects in the Division by providing perodic updates to management



Requirements:

  • 8 - 10 years of working experience with at least 6 years in product development roles.
  • Strong Leadership experience to lead and inspire team member.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills to be able to pitch and engage key stakeholders (including at C-Suite level) effectively for partnerships and results
  • Methodical, process oriented, organised and proactive self-starter
  • Have a strong sense of curiosity and tenacity to suss out opportunities, scope up a project and secure the required resources to see it through to completion
  • Robust knowledge of technology development, trends and industry landscape
  • Ability to work well and collaborate within the team with diverse personalities
