Job scope:
- Work under the supervision of the Non Marine Broking Manager as part of the Non Marine Broking team, together with fellow Account Handlers, to provide insurance broking advice and insurance placement for clients;
- Liaising with Clients to understand their insurance needs and advising them on the available insurances coverage available;
- Obtaining relevant underwriting information from client for submission to underwriters for quotation and terms;
- Reviewing rates, terms and conditions of quoted insurances and advising clients accordingly;
- Placement of insurance with relevant underwriters obtaining the necessary support required from various markets, ensuring that the required level of insurance capacity is obtained;
- Preparation of various relevant documentation required for insurance placement including quotation slips, placement slips, schedules and calculations, cover notes, endorsements, addenda to cover notes, and closing slips;
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or 'A' Levels
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Certificate in General Insurance from the Singapore College of Insurance or equivalent
