Responsibilities:
Product Management:

• Take the lead role in refining the go-to-market strategy for our e-commerce product range in the Asian region, including:
  • Using your network of contacts in the e-commerce world to identify the key opportunities for the e-commerce funding product range.
  • working closely with the technology team in London to define necessary product development initiatives to suit the local market;
  • working with our marketing team to produce marketing and sales collateral suitable for the local market.

Business Development:

• Drive our initial sales efforts in the region to prove and refine the business proposition.
  • Prospecting and signing initial pilot clients
  • Working with our sales data team to compile a database of prospect accounts
  • Creating campaigns for outbound sales team,
  • Liaising with the internal credit team to manage onboarding process.

Partner Management:

• A key part of our success will be your ability to forge meaningful relationships with important partners in the e-commerce ecosystem, including:
  • Marketplaces
  • Payment service providers
  • Online seller technology providers

Requirements:

• Looking for candidates who have at least 2 of the following:
  • Strong understanding of and significant work experience with-in the online retail ecosystem,
  • Understanding of the needs of Chinese sellers trading on international marketplaces
  • Established relationships with key participants (major marketplaces, payment gateways etc)
  • Experience in outbound sales and partner management

• In addition, you will be expected to possess.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills;
  • A strong track record of achievement in a sales / marketing / product management role;
  • Enthusiasm for all things e-commerce
