Our client, a global e-commerce platform for luxury fashion, is looking for an experienced luxury client account manager to join their team based in Singapore

The ideal candidate will have previous experience shaping a new clienteling service, recruiting and managing a roster of high-net worth clients in the luxury space. Previous experience in the fashion industry, understanding of fashion clients and current trends/potential saleability of products is a must. You should be a self-starter, detail-oriented and customer-focused, with the ability to recruit and manage clients.

About the role

This position will be instrumental in supporting the daily operations of the Country team in Singapore. Reporting into the Head of Southeast Asia and working closely with other Key Account Managers, the primary focus of the role is to grow the company's consignment (VIP) business in Singapore by recruiting and maintaining close relationships with a roster of high net worth individuals. The success of this role will be determined by the satisfaction of clients as well as the growth of consignment inventory and sales in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Business development: Build customer acquisition strategy to call, meet and make initial contact with target prospects and onboard as new clients to meet monthly goals
  • Account Management: You are responsible for managing top clients directly and all the aspects of the client relationship management of your portfolio, including day to day support and troubleshooting
  • Inventory Management: You are responsible for managing partners in operations to ensure consignment items are uploaded in a timely manner. You will need to determine the price of items with clients to ensure maximum saleability of products once online
  • Revenue Generation: Drive onsite campaigns, maximise GMV, optimise your stock intake and manage sell-thru rates by analysing sales performance data, while always maintaining a strong product selection
  • Partnerships : Identify opportunities and develop value added partnerships to grow the business and bring on new sellers
  • Global teamwork: Partner with other cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Up to 3 years of experience with both business and sales/clienteling teams within the luxury industry
  • Previous Client Advisory experience in the luxury retail industry is a plus, however a strong knowledge of the luxury industry, products and trends is critical
  • You understand the complexity of a consignment business from both a business and a clienteling perspective
  • You are data driven and have a strong understanding of key retail and e-commerce dynamics
  • Proactive, you are comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • You are customer focused and excited to build new customer experiences
  • Good command of MS office suite
