About the Company:

Our Client is a renowned food production company with sizeable operation and local footprint. As part of their expansion plan, they are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to be part of their existing team.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead and lead engineering department to ensure the team meets company's specifications and standards.
• Direct and coordinate production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance in industrial plants.
• Assign, direct, evaluate technical work, and oversee development and maintenance of engineering staff competence.
• Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff.
• Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Develop and maintain plant engineering to highest standards and aligned with company's specifications.

• Manage Engineering Department operating expense budget, develop detailed cost estimates, project schedules.
• Spearhead research and development for initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects, procedures, and improved processes.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and project schedules.

• Liaise and collaborate with other stakeholders, managers, departments, vendors, and contractors.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma or Degree qualification or equivalent
• Min. 3 years of engineering management experience
• Experience and hands-on in leading improvement projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
