Job Description

  • Responsible for all finance matters; preparing the company and group annual financial statements and group consolidation for the company and its subsidiaries across Southeast Asia
  • Responsible for annual budget exercise and regular business performance reviews with top management
  • Supervises day-to-day accounting operations
  • Leads and manages team of finance staff to prepare the full set of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of the companies within the holding company including reconciliations to management reports and consolidation of financial statements
  • Assists with the year-end audit and tax filings (including quarterly/yearly tax estimate filings)
  • Assists with preparing ad-hoc reports for senior management and provides high level inputs to key stakeholders
  • Oversee outsourced accounting/payroll firms
  • Oversee administrative processes of company's offices across the region, including legal incorporation, in coordination with local teams
  • Researches and resolves account reconciling items, as needed
  • Assists with both accounts payable and receivables, as needed
  • Assists with cash management and reporting process, as needed
  • Collaborates with operation and compliance teams to ensure the compliance of local rules and regulations
  • Maintains and develops robust and efficient accounting and reporting processes and related policies in accordance with local accounting standards
  • Ensures internal controls and SOPs are in place and reviewed regularly and all statutory documentation and corporate secretarial records are complete
  • Consistently analyses financial data and keeps abreast of financial status, risks, and opportunities



Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Posses Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economic/business administration
  • At least of 8+ years accounting and management experience
  • Good knowledge of local accounting standards, Certified Public Accountant
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and knowledge of a range of software packages such as QuickBooks
  • A highly detailed individual with the ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects

  • Flexibility and adaptability to constantly changing priorities
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle highly confidential material
