Job Scope:
Our global client is looking for an information security professional with expert level skill as a Public Cloud Security Technical Specialist. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of Public Cloud service providers' security characteristics and capabilities, especially with AWS, Azure, OCI, and IBM Cloud. The position will require a working knowledge of service provider capabilities and an excellent technical foundation to deploy, operate and maintain cloud security services in a large enterprise.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Understand and maintain a constant and consistent level of knowledge regarding Public Cloud security capabilities and services
- Apply knowledge of security services and capabilities when deploying, operating and maintaining the in-scope security service(s) and/or configuration
- Support service troubleshooting as is necessary; availability, performance, integrity, availability
- Support service reporting and metrics requirements
- Support DevSecOps initiatives as opportunities arise to do so
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- CISSP or equivalent is highly advantageous
- One or more Public Cloud Specialist certifications required (AWS, Azure, etc)
- 4+ years experience as a security specialist
- Passion to work as a member of a team focused on constant improvement and excellence
- Demonstrate an ability and desire to be creative and voice out-of-the-box solutions
