Responsibilities
- Lead development work on key & strategic customer projects as per project brief requirements
- Create new or modify existing formulation
- Provide guidance to junior application technologists on formulation guidelines
- Liaise with purchasing to source raw materials for use in application for specific project requirements
- Lead / be involved in resolving potential issues associated with production & supply chain, & addressing customer complaints
- Build knowledge & awareness of customer & competitor brands & consumer preferences
- Organize the maintenance, cleaning and servicing of laboratory equipment as recommended by the equipment manufacturers
- Provide technical assistance & organize workshops for internal & external customers
- Support Application Manager in identify / develop related training programmes to upgrade technical of the team
- Knowledge & understanding of cross category end application process
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science / Food Technology / related science discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in food or flavor industry
- Equip with knowledge & understanding of raw materials & their functions in applications
