Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identify Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance risks and performing compliance risk assessments.
  • Monitor regulatory change developments and potential impact of regulatory change in Singapore, including performing gap analysis and providing compliance advisory to stakeholders
  • Perform and conduct risk assessments, EWRA assessment etc
  • Assist in providing oversight and support over transaction and surveillance framework
  • Liaise/engage with relevant stakeholder as well as other Global Business in Singapore to provide expertise and support on all Compliance related matters
  • Ensure the timely and relevant risk information is provided to management, in-country management and Compliance management team in Singapore and in other region
  • Maintain and observe timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
  • Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking or Finance or relevant work experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of regulatory & financial crime compliance (FCC) experience
  • Must have regulatory knowledge in Banking Act, Securities & Financial Act, Financial Advisors Act etc
  • Have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Must be analytical and have a good eye for detail.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Able to work both as a team player as well as independently
