Software Engineer - Front End & 3D visualisation (Robotics UX)

  • Job Reference: 159071
  • Industry: Manufacturing and Production

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing and building the operator-facing interface of a robot fleet management platform used in industrial environments. This interface enables the management of facility maps, definition of inspection points, configuration of robot inspection tasks and behaviors, and planning and scheduling of autonomous missions.
  • The work involves developing complex, high-impact user experiences where interface decisions directly influence real-world robotic operations. It includes building advanced 3D map visualizations, spatial editors for points of interest, and mission planning workflows, resembling a mission-control-style system rather than a traditional dashboard.

Requirement:

  • 3+ years of frontend development experience with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework
  • Demonstrated ability to build spatial or 3D interfaces such as maps, CAD viewers, point clouds, or similar. Portfolio evidence expected.
  • Solid instinct for usability in complex, information-dense interfaces. You think about how the user actually works, not just how the data is structured.
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with technical leads to translate architecture decisions into interface behavior.
  • Experience in industrial, robotics, or simulation environments is advantageous, but a track record of shipping hard UX problems in any domain is the baseline.
