Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and independent Tender Engineer to support our Commercial team in driving business growth within the Marine and Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be involved in tender preparation, client coordination, and proposal development, while ensuring alignment with company branding and QHSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Tendering & Business Development

  • Assist the Commercial Manager in sales activities and business development initiatives
  • Prepare tender pre-qualification documents, including technical specifications for ROV & Survey services
  • Develop comprehensive technical proposals and ensure compliance with tender requirements
  • Coordinate and respond to client technical queries and clarification requests
  • Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotation) based on client requirements
  • Support the preparation of commercial proposals under guidance of the Commercial Manager
  • Follow up on tender clarifications related to commercial submissions

Client & Bid Process Management

  • Attend pre-bid meetings, tender openings, and clarification meetings as company representative
  • Prepare and review Bid Review Forms
  • Ensure proper handover of project requirements and contract terms to the Operations/Project team
  • Participate in negotiation and review of contract terms and conditions

Branding & Marketing Support

  • Contribute creative ideas for company branding at exhibitions and marketing activities
  • Support website updates, newsletters, and branding initiatives
  • Maintain and organize company databases and filing systems

QHSE Duties & Accountability

  • Adhere to all company procedures, safety instructions, and standards at all times
  • Understand and fulfill individual safety responsibilities in accordance with company policy and statutory regulations
  • Exercise Stop Work Authority when unsafe conditions or acts are identified
  • Report and follow up on hazards or potential risks promptly
  • Participate actively in HSE programs and waste management initiatives
  • Be familiar with emergency and contingency plans

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline
  • 1–2 years of experience in Marine and/or Oil & Gas industry 
  • Experience in tendering, proposals, or commercial support roles. 
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
