Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage export customs operations, ensuring smooth and compliant shipment processes
- Review and verify customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, declarations, certificates)
- Ensure compliance with Singapore customs regulations and international trade requirements
- Supervise and guide customs team, including workload allocation, training, and SOP implementation
- Monitor trade regulations, identify compliance risks, and support audits and corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal teams, overseas partners, and logistics providers to resolve issues and improve shipment performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs, import/export, or trade compliance
- Good knowledge of Singapore customs procedures, HS Code, and rules of origin
- Experience in managing customs operations within MNCs, trading, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Exposure to cross-border operations (ASEAN/China) and international supply chains is a plus
