Objective
A Technician, IQC & Logistics, is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and handling incoming materials. The role supports R&D engineers and operations teams by ensuring materials meet quality requirements, are accurately transacted in SAP, and are available on time for prototype and engineering build among other purposes. also manage packing, picking, and shipment of parts, modules and machines.
Key Responsibilities:
Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
- Perform incoming inspections (IQC) of purchased fabricated parts according to engineering drawing, specifications, and inspection procedures.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain inspection records.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials.
- Raise inspection findings and report quality issues to the Team Lead, or responsible Engineer and Manager.
- Monitor timely calibration of IQC equipment.
Logistics and Warehouse Operations
- Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Perform goods receipt transactions in SAP
- Pick, pack, and issue materials for R&D builds, engineering projects, and production activities.
- Arrange shipments of parts, modules, and machines
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transactions during stock transfers, inventory movements, and material returns.
- Ensure materials are stored in designated locations with proper identification.
- Participate in cycle counts and stock audits.
Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Comply with company procedures, EHS requirements, and 5S standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to receiving, inspection, storage and material flow.
- Support internal and external audits when required.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
Education
- Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related discipline.
Work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or quality inspection.
- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or R&D environment
Skills and competencies
- Experience in SAP (material management, quality modules)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with dimensional inspection tools and measurement techniques.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes.
