Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Machining Specialist to support the repair and restoration of aircraft engine cases and components within a high-precision aerospace MRO environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support programming of 5-axis CNC machining centers
- Perform contour milling, drilling, boring, and thread repair operations
- Machine complex engine case features including flanges, bosses, seal lands, and bearing housings
- Support machine setup, validation, and commissioning activities
- Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings and OEM repair schemes
- Maintain machining quality and process documentation
- Support continuous improvement and lean repair cell operations
Requirements
- Technical diploma or equivalent in machining or mechanical engineering
- CNC programming and operation certification for 5-axis machining
- Experience with Mastercam, Siemens NX, or equivalent
- Minimum 4–6 years of aerospace CNC machining experience
- Experience repairing or machining aero engine components
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace materials including titanium and Inconel
- Familiarity with precision inspection tools such as CMM and Faro arm
