Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum of month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including budgets, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and expense reports.
- Review AP, AR, intercompany (IC), general ledger (GL), and supporting schedules to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all payments, receipts, and financial records.
- Prepare and post accounting entries in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls over accounting and financial procedures.
- Handle GST preparation and submission.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and professional advisors on audit and tax matters.
- Support senior management in financial planning, including KPI setting, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage project cost accounting by tracking project costs, identifying variances, and recommending cost control measures in collaboration with Operations.
- Oversee HR and administrative functions.
- Support payroll processing and related activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of CPF contributions and income tax filings (IR8A, IR21).
- Able to maintain and update BizSAFE documentation.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or a recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
