Production & Materials Planner

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ERP system (Madsoft) across inventory, purchasing, and production functions
• Perform material demand planning & forecasting based on customer orders and BOM
• Plan and coordinate production schedules in line with capacity, materials, and delivery timelines
• Track Work-In-Progress (WIP) and monitor shopfloor activities to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supply chain or production issues promptly
• Analyse processes and identify bottlenecks for continuous improvement
• Manage inventory levels and cost tracking, including reporting using Excel
• Support procurement coordination and ensure timely availability of materials
• Lead annual stock take and ensure audit-ready documentation and records

Requirements

• Experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain roles
• Familiarity with ERP systems (inventory, purchasing, production modules)
• Good understanding of BOM, inventory management, and manufacturing workflows
• Good knowledge of production scheduling and capacity planning
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, reporting, basic modelling)
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and timelines
