Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery daily and perform safety and functionality checks using standard checklists to ensure operational readiness
  • Operate machines with different settings to run various production programs accurately
  • Prepare raw materials and chemicals required for production runs following safety protocols
  • Inspect input materials and output products to verify quality and material integrity before proceeding to the next production stage
  • Perform periodic inspections of machinery and tools, replace consumables, and log production data to maintain process consistency
  • Conduct work-in-progress checks using monitoring systems and report any issues promptly to supervisors for timely resolution
  • Support tool or program changes during product type switchovers to maintain production flow
  • Assist in scheduled maintenance activities and operate multiple machines as needed to meet production demands
  • Maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Participate actively in shift handovers, quality improvement initiatives, and other assigned tasks to support team goals

Required competencies and certifications

  • Certification in chemical handling to safely manage production materials
  • Certification in manufacturing safety to comply with workplace safety standards
  • Certification in quality inspection to ensure product standards are met
  • Ability to work in shifts, including cleanroom environments, and support overtime as required
  • Must not have colour vision deficiency to accurately perform inspection tasks
