QA/QC Engineer (Construction / With Class 3)

Salary: $3,000 - $4,500
Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Saturday: 9:00am - 4:30pm

About the Role

An established construction and engineering company is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities for major infrastructure and construction projects. This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy site-based work, inspections, quality compliance, and coordination with various project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site and batching plant inspections to ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
• Monitor and enforce QA/QC procedures and project quality requirements at all stages of construction.
• Ensure all waterproofing works and related processes comply with project specifications and established SOPs.
• Carry out inspections, quality checks, and testing activities to identify and rectify non-conformance issues.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, checklists, and project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support on quality-related matters.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on QA/QC issues.
• Coordinate material inspections, testing requirements, and ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.
• Support internal and external ISO audits and assist in maintaining compliance with quality management systems.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, inspections, or site observations.
• Work closely with project and site teams to improve quality performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year of QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Good knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and site practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report writing.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to work overtime when required by project schedules.
• Possess Class 3 Driving Licence and willing to drive a company vehicle when required.
• Comfortable working on-site and conducting regular site inspections.
