Project Director - Electrical (Construction)

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee multiple electrical projects, ensuring successful delivery from planning to completion.
• Drive project strategies, operational performance, and business objectives across the project portfolio.
• Manage large-scale or multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline targets are achieved.
• Optimize manpower, resources, equipment, and vendor partnerships to support project execution.
• Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and cost control.
• Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on contracts and commercial matters.
• Manage project risks, variation orders, claims, and dispute resolution to protect company interests.
• Act as the key point of contact for clients, developers, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and EHS requirements across all projects.
• Mentor and manage Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and engineering teams while driving continuous process improvements and operational excellence.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, with Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
• Over 10 years of experience in electrical design, engineering, and project delivery across mission-critical, utility, industrial, and airport projects.
• With expertise in managing electrical systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale and complex infrastructure projects within schedule and budget.
• Experienced in reviewing and coordinating vendor submissions, technical specifications, and electrical drawings.
• Good understanding of electrical standards, codes, and industry best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments.
