Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full trade lifecycle, including contract negotiation, execution, and administration with customers and suppliers.
  • Oversee shipment coordination, scheduling, pricing administration, and related trading activities to ensure smooth execution.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Monitor market developments, industry trends, supply-demand dynamics, and competitor activities to support commercial decision-making.
  • Liaise with logistics, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Support risk management initiatives, compliance requirements, and commercial performance reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities.
  • Contribute to business growth strategies through market intelligence and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commodity trading, agricultural commodities, grain trading, feed ingredients, or a related commercial environment.
  • Well verse in international trade practices, contract execution, Incoterms, and trade operations.
  • Knowledge of futures markets, hedging strategies, and risk management principles will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and manage commercial partnerships effectively.
  • Established industry network within grain, feed ingredients, or agricultural commodity markets is highly desirable.
