Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full trade lifecycle, including contract negotiation, execution, and administration with customers and suppliers.
- Oversee shipment coordination, scheduling, pricing administration, and related trading activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Monitor market developments, industry trends, supply-demand dynamics, and competitor activities to support commercial decision-making.
- Liaise with logistics, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Support risk management initiatives, compliance requirements, and commercial performance reporting.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities.
- Contribute to business growth strategies through market intelligence and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in commodity trading, agricultural commodities, grain trading, feed ingredients, or a related commercial environment.
- Well verse in international trade practices, contract execution, Incoterms, and trade operations.
- Knowledge of futures markets, hedging strategies, and risk management principles will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and manage commercial partnerships effectively.
- Established industry network within grain, feed ingredients, or agricultural commodity markets is highly desirable.
