Ansible Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Ansible with a deep understanding of Red Hat OpenShift, container orchestration, and automation at scale.
• Collaborate with Customer cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to Ansible playbook development requirements. 
• Develop Ansible playbook for onboarding, provisioning, patching and security requirements.
• Create, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles that automate various tasks, confi gurations, and deployments.
• Implement security related best practices for Ansible, ensuring automation complies as per organizational security and compliance policies.
• Development of Python and PowerShell scripts to automate various tasks and processes.
• Good understanding to support automation solutions across technology stack, including Linux, Windows, RHEL, Core OS, OCP and other platforms.

Required Skills:

• 2 to 3 of proven experience as an Ansible Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Hands On Experience and advanced knowledge of Red Hat Ansible platform and playbook development
• Excellent scripting skills in Python, YAML, Angular JS and PowerShell
• Profi ciency in working with Linux , Windows, Core OS, and RHEL environments.
• Knowledge on Openshift platform and cloud technologies
• Familiarity with AgroCD, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins and JIRA.
• Good understanding of automation principles and practices Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration
• Excellent communication skills
• Good customer-facing skills, ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions
