The Backend Engineer will design and maintain backend systems that power scalable applications. This role requires expertise in API contracts, data structures, performance optimization, and security constraints. Collaboration with frontend engineers is central to defining schemas, validation rules, error handling, and end-to-end architecture flows.

Job scopes

• Define API contracts, data schemas, validation rules, and error semantics.
• Partner with frontend engineers to identify integration risks, dependencies, and review architecture flows.
• Ensure backend systems meet performance benchmarks and comply with security standards.
• Apply hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and customer tech stacks to streamline deployments.
• Establish consistent response patterns and error semantics for reliable system behavior.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Must have 5 years experience in backend engineering with modern tech skills (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go).
• Hands-on expertise in API design, data modeling, and system integration.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of performance tuning and security constraints.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with frontend and cross-functional teams.
