Key Responsibilities

Event Technology & Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end planning, implementation, and support of technology solutions for assigned events and programs.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend suitable event technology solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by proposing industry best practices, digital engagement tools, and operational improvements.
  • Conduct project meetings, technical briefings, status updates, and post-event reviews.
  • Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT governance, security, and data privacy requirements.

Digital Platform & Technical Operations

  • Configure, manage, and support event management platforms, registration systems, event websites, mobile applications, and virtual/hybrid event solutions.
  • Coordinate integrations between event platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Manage attendee registration processes, online communications, and digital content delivery.
  • Oversee setup, testing, and operation of audiovisual systems, live streaming, video conferencing, networking infrastructure, and collaboration tools.
  • Monitor platform performance and proactively resolve technical issues before and during events.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to speakers, attendees, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage technology vendors, software providers, and service partners.
  • Lead vendor selection activities, including technical evaluations, RFP processes, and solution comparisons.
  • Ensure vendor performance meets project requirements, service-level agreements (SLAs), and security standards.
  • Manage project and technology budgets, including software licensing, hardware rentals, vendor services, and support costs.
  • Review vendor invoices and monitor expenditure to ensure cost efficiency and budget compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across event management and reporting systems.
  • Generate event, attendance, engagement, operational, and performance reports.
  • Conduct data reconciliation, user access reviews, and compliance audits as required.
  • Analyze event metrics and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure confidential client and company information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection policies.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management, event technology, digital platforms, or technical operations.
  • Minimum 3 years of stakeholder or client management experience.
  • Experience supporting virtual, hybrid, and in-person event technologies.
  • Experience managing third-party technology vendors and service providers.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, software applications, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
