ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Act as the liaison between the customer REFM stakeholders, the project execution team and the IWMS software vendor.
  • Participate in all planning sessions often acting on behalf of the customer.
  • Provide guidance for the customer through decision-making processes regarding cost/benefit, timelines, and operational and change management issues
  • Responsible for managing the requirements process: collecting, defining, documenting, mockup and approvals.
  • Responsible for creating documentation for:
  • ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes, process
  • Operating procedures
  • Key Performance Indicators and measurement criteria
  • Reporting Objectives and Solutions
  • Data gathering templates and management plans
  • Work with project team to drive the design and review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment.
  • Identify and follow-through on process and functionality improvement initiatives.
  • Train end users on IWMS functionality and processes.
  • Education of the Client regarding industry best practices when applicable.
  • Run data queries to identify data issues and provide recommended solutions.
  • Work with varying levels within the customer organization to better understand customer needs.
  • Lead multiple concurrent IWMS projects and workstreams, coordinating across project teams and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to client REFM leadership, shaping technology roadmap and process-improvement priorities.
  • Own the mentoring and upskilling of junior Business Analysts, providing structured coaching, skills-development plans and career growth support.
  • Assign and monitor work allocation across the junior Business Analyst team, tracking progress against project commitments and rebalancing assignments as priorities shift.
  • Review and validate junior Business Analysts’ deliverables for accuracy, consistency and completeness prior to client submission, ensuring adherence to established BA methodology and standards.
  • Negotiate alignment among competing stakeholder priorities, resolving conflicts and driving consensus on scope, requirements and timelines.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 

  • BS or BA in related discipline or related experience.
  • 7-8 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, including demonstrated leadership of project teams and mentoring of junior staff
  • 5+ years’ experience leading requirements analysis, documentation and management across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience leading project teams adhering to formal PM processes (PMI, Six Sigma, Agile, Lean, etc.
