System Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for control system testing activities, including assigned work related to system testbed wiring, commissioning, system test execution, failure analysis, and reporting for controller and I/O platforms.

2. Work closely with System Test Leads and team members to execute firmware-centric system testing, identify system-level product failures, investigate and characterize issues, and report defects promptly using established tools and processes.

3. Apply foundational PLC knowledge to accurately validate and characterize defects, support root cause analysis, and verify issue resolutions provided by development teams.

4. Perform system test engineering activities focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of industrial automation and control system products.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC programming and industrial control systems.
• Understanding of firmware and system-level testing methodologies.
• Experience with troubleshooting, failure analysis, and defect reporting.
• Familiarity with controller, I/O, and automation hardware platforms.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering and development teams.
• Knowledge of test execution, validation, and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial automation, embedded systems, or control system testing.
• Exposure to product verification and validation environments.
• Understanding of software defect tracking and test management tools.
