Actuarial Associate

Job scope

• Data Migration – Understand underlying data structures and actuarial requirements. Communicate details of data requirements with IT. Perform reconciliation and data quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Data Script Migration – Plan, execute and support migration of actuarial data scripting. Perform reconciliation and data quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Dashboard Migration – Analyse existing dashboards, reports and underlying data models to understand business requirements. Validate migrated dashboards through data reconciliation and user acceptance testing. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers and project teams throughout the migration process.
• Rebrand Excel Tools – Ensure that logos and wordings in tools are updated, in line with rebrand guidelines.
• System migration– Support pricing related requirements during system migration.
• Provide financial assessments for various company initiatives such as campaigns
• Produce regular monitoring and profitability insights for senior stakeholders, including inflation studies and actual-vs-expected experience analyses; identify key profit/loss drivers and recommend actions.
• Manage and curate data used for pricing, analytics, and performance monitoring to ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability.
• Drive Employee Benefits pricing tool, through continuous enhancements to improve technical accuracy, usability, and processing efficiency
• Support Employee Benefits Large Quotation Review which exceeds underwriters' authority limit

Job requirements

• Possess a Degree in business /Mathematics /Sciences / Actuarial related fields 
• Possess 1-2 years of Actuarial experience
• Organized detailed oriented, and motivated team player who is dynamic and adapts well to changes
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel -Pivotable, VBA & Power Query
• Proficiency in Database Coding Technologies - Python, SQL & R
• Proficiency in Tableu and PowerBI
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
