Key Responsibilities
- To serve as the technical expert for semiconductor processing chemistry products across the region.
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify target customers and support new business opportunities.
- To visit customers to understand their manufacturing processes, equipment, and technical requirements.
- Provide application support during product qualifications, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Recommend and optimize chemical solutions based on customer needs, laboratory evaluations, and process performance.
- Establish and manage the regional wafer processing and failure analysis laboratory, including equipment planning and capability enhancements.
- Develop and optimize semiconductor plating and wet process chemistries to improve product performance and reliability.
- Conduct product performance testing and coordinate validation activities with global technical teams.
- Support the localization of manufacturing by defining production specifications, operating procedures, quality standards, and release criteria.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to new product development.
- Build collaborations with universities, research institutes, and industry partners to strengthen technical capabilities and innovation.
- Lead and develop laboratory personnel while supporting future manufacturing capability expansion.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in semiconductor process chemistry, electroplating, wafer processing, or related wet chemical applications.
- Well verse in semiconductor manufacturing processes and customer qualification requirements.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot process issues and provide technical solutions in a customer-facing environment.
