Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of finance and accounting activities.
  • Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee manufacturing finance activities, including product costing, standard costing, inventory valuation, WIP accounting, cost roll-ups, and variance analysis.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and management reporting, providing meaningful analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Monitor inventory, production costs, margins, and profitability, working closely with operations and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and cost control.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury functions, and banking relationships to ensure healthy liquidity and financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, GST requirements, and statutory filings with IRAS and ACRA.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely completion of audits and compliance matters.
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and governance frameworks to mitigate risks and enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. ACCA, CPA, or CA qualification will be an added advantage.
  • At least 6 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing, precision engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • Well verse in full-set accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting.
