Responsibilities:
- Source and assess suppliers and vendors while requesting and comparing quotations.
- Prepare comprehensive cost analyses and product cost breakdowns.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules effectively.
- Monitor material costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain supplier relationships and performance records diligently.
- Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with sourcing and purchasing policies.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing precision machining or sheet metal
- Experience or knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and product cost analysis.
- Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales.
- Ability to liaise with overseas counterparts – China - Suzhou, Malaysia.
